Design Foils in 25 Foot Rolls
Design Foils- 2 Types 12" x 25' wide plus Remnants when available
On Large Core Rolls and Hand-Rolled without a core plus Remnants (when available) - just message me!!
These foils are a lot thinner than vinyl, release onto any tacky surface & should be sealed for longer wear-ability. However, if added to material please was inside out.
Large Core Rolls come in 25 ft rolls straight from the supplier, we do not cut or wind on the core, there may be some handling marks where pieces are "dinged" or scratched, this is not something we have any control over. We are told that there is a bit extra on the rolls to make up for any marks or dings. They are not available in remnants at this time, unfortunately
Hand-Rolled come in a tighter smaller roll. They are painstakingly rolled by hand in a tight roll giving you 25 feet of the foil where we check for marks and we add a little extra to make up for it.
Remnants - (Dented, Scratched or Dinged) are available, if you just want to play around & learn how to use these foils or know you will only need bits and pieces this will be perfect for you! 12" wide x whatever length I have. This is available as I get them, message me to see what designs I have.
APPLY DECORATIVE SIDE UP - BURNISH (if needed) RELEASE CLEAR CARRIER (top) at an angle to release onto your item. If a part does not release, line up the area to match the area it missed and burnish hard then pull at an angle quickly. This may take numerous tries because some colors on patterns can be hard to release because of their makeup.
KEEP AWAY FROM ANYTHING STICKY, they will release very easily, there is no coming back from that once attached, it is there to stay, cut the attached piece off if need be....
The foils are sold on Large Core Rolls and hand-rolled without a core.
They release with an adhesive such as Siser EasyWeed Adhesive, Tack-it, or anything tacky-sticky but not a wet medium. Once it is placed over the adhesive, you will need to burnish the foil with a piece of kraft paper or the edge of a credit card then moving at a sideways angle remove the clear sheet leaving the foil behind. If you miss a piece simply repeat the step and put foil over again to attach.
Use on tumblers, apply Tack-It and press on, for a rustic look, crumble foil in hand then apply it to a tumbler, remove top layer (clear carrier) at an angle for best results.
These foils can be used for Polymer Clay, Stationary, Tumblers, T-Shirts* and so much more! Wash Clothing Inside Out & Line Dry to prevent fading or peeling, light iron inside out if absolutely necessary - *test a small area & wash first to test durability
Most foils can be used over any laser (toner) printed page and release with heat such as a laminator (use a carrier sheet or piece of paper over it) or any hot iron. Always peel at a SLOW sidewise angle.
